Alaska dog bite law
Alaska has no statewide strict-liability dog-bite statute. You generally prove the owner knew the dog could hurt someone, or that they were careless with control.

Prior bites, leash-law violations, and statements the owner made after the attack (“he’s done that before”) are the case. Local ordinances still matter in Anchorage and elsewhere.
Exceptions insurers will mention
Owner is liable if they knew of dangerous propensities or failed to use ordinary care.
